Please don't equate editorial policy of an institution (TIOL) with facts-based opinion piece penned by an individual (columnist in this case). You should read all that appears in TIOL carefully before complaining about lack of "intense vehemence" on scams. Go through Ice Cubes archives to feel the intensity of concern over scams on which I have written for 36 years.(Visit nareshminocha.com too if need be.) In the archives, you would also come across instances when facts led me into praising or defending Mr. Modi, before and after he became PM. I largely focus on issues and reference about powers that be is only related to issues stirred or neglected by them. I have always judged PMs & his cabinet colleagues by their words. Is it a crime to stand up for accountability and truth? Please specify factual error in this column and I would be too glad to make amends. And don't preach journalistic curbs to glorify any person. - naresh minocha
