Jettison Dogmas to Resolve India's Complex Economic Woes
Policy paralysis and Judicial Activism its results
Very correct analysis of current economic scenario. The conflict between saying and doing is the main concern of current scenario, which I have to point out as under:-
1. On one hand we propagating "Make in India" and on other hand encouraging import.Small engineering and electrical appliances, which were once the core competency of MSME sector are switched to import, example Electric fans imported in india during 2018-19 of more than 65 Lacs Pcs, taking away more than 5 lacs manpower days, and spending 500 crores of Rs. The one singel Brand imported around 25 lacs, who was once the oldest and largest manufacturere of fans. Similar is the situation for other MSME after GST, who either struggling nor taken away by Multinationals example Maharaja and Preethi Mixer grinders.
2. The other example struggling Ceramic Industry of Morbi, who due to Environment Activism and Judicial enthusiasm going to damage and close ceramic hub of Morbi, where compensation for damage of Environment is demanded even from those units who never used coal gasifier, by GPCB. How investors invest and manufacturers survive in such atmosphere.
3. GST :- which do not have any quantitative data in its system, and you can not ascertain the production quantity of a singel products in India.
4. Statistical Information:- It is well known facts that Hyderabad, Varanasi, Delhi NCR are hub of fan manufacturing and Ambala, Mumbai are hub of mixer manufactures, but not a single data base to ascertain the exact quantity manufactured.
Above are observation which is relevant to mention to support your Article.
